Regina received her law degree in 1987 from the Jones School of Law graduating second in her class. She then went on to become licensed and practice as an associate attorney in Maryland and in California. Regina came to Wetumpka in 1992 with the law firm of Joe A. Macon, Jr. & Associates before opening the law firm of Edwards & Edwards, P.C. in 1993 where her emphasis was in the areas of real estate, probate, and general business law. She started her own law firm in 2004 which is a general practice.
Regina is the past president of the Wetumpka Chamber of Commerce. She is also a past president of the Trail of Legends Association and the Elmore County Bar Association. She served as Chairman for the 2000 United Way Campaign for ElmoreCounty and as chair of the Alabama Bar Real Properties, Probate and Trust Section for two terms. She currently serves as chairman of the Wetumpka, AL Industrial Development Board. Regina is also active in the Friends of the Fort, Elmore County Historical Society and Trail of Legends Association, Inc.
Regina has two sons, Jonathan Edwards and Justin Edwards, daughter in law, Roberta Edwards and one grandson, Benjamin Randolph Edwards. She is a member of the First United Methodist Church of Wetumpka.
She believes in volunteerism and in giving back to her community.
